I thought the wolfpack would get a touchdown its last drive during the dying minutes of the 4th quarter. However, they came short and the hokies claimed their first win in the ACC conference this season. The final score: hokies (20) - wolfpack (16).
The other ACC teams fared well in their opening games:
> Clemson tigers upset the 17th ranked Texas A&M aggies
> Georgie tech upset the 16th ranked Auburn tigers
> 22nd ranked Boston College eagles have beaten BYU cougars
> 25th ranked Virginia cavaliers have beaten Western Michigan broncos
> Maryland terrapins have beaten Navy midshipmen
Duke blue devils and Wake Forest demon deacons came short in their respective opening matches. For tommorow's match between Florida State seminoles and Miami hurricanes, I would go with the seminoles.

the tigers better take care of business in their next assignment: Miami 'canes. :)
we'll run over maryland first, then we'll steamroll the 'canes :) we beat them at their home turf before, we can beat them here :) the hokies should have no problem with the blue devils.

with the tigers looking good -- I will not be surprised if Miami will start the season 0-2.
exciting weekend ahead. if the canes gets into an 0-2 hole, then goodbye to national championship. but wont you love to see the hokies in a rematch with the trojans?
